    Do what you can to let the potential buyer see your home in the best light possible. Clean windows. Open draperies and blinds fully. Turn on all lights and fireplaces. Brighten dark wall colours with a beige or off-white colour. Brighten dull vanities or cupboards with an off-white colour.
  6. Cleaning
    Make sure your home looks great both inside and out. Touch up paint outside or power wash the siding and clean windows. Replace or repair marks and damage outside as well as on ceilings, walls, doors, and baseboards. Touch up paint inside as needed. If you need to repaint a whole room or level of a house, use a neutral colour like beige or off-white. Show the true square footage by removing floor mats, and also give them a good scrubbing and steam clean carpets. Check the colour of your grout and organize stuff in closets and pack or discard unused stuff. Removing stuff from the floor of your closet can show the depth and size of the closet.
  7. Pricing
